Indeed it was the last time he spent with his brother, who predeceased him shortly after the reunion. Prior to the time of his passing he was already planning another trip “home” for “the last ride” as he called it.
Larry was predeceased by his brothers, Hensel Wilson, Earnest Wilson and Hubert (Luke) Wilson and a sister Ethel W. Boothe.
Leaving great memories behind for his loved ones, he carried his military ways right to the end. A memorial was held Saturday, September 30 in Chandler, AZ with full military celebration at his church, Chandler Baptist Church. An “at home” memorial reunion will be held at a later date in Pulaski County in honor of his birth place that he loved dearly.
