Pulaski Yankees Name New General Manager

The Pulaski Yankees ownership group is proud to announce new leadership at Calfee Park. Christina Edney has been named General Manager.

Edney served as the Assistant General Manager for the past year. A 2012 Liberty University graduate, Edney studied sports Journalism and minored in Youth Ministry.

The Pulaski native spent several years working in TV news as an Associate Producer at WDBJ7 in Roanoke and a sports reporter and morning reporter at WHSV TV3 in Harrisonburg, VA before returning to her Pulaski roots.

“It’s great to be home, in my town and at my ballpark. As we continue to move forward and look to the future, my goal is to build on the foundation already in place and continue to provide a fun, safe affordable stadium for children, families and fans alike,” said Edney.

The transition in management comes as Previous General Manager Blair Hoke accepts a new position with a minor league team in North Carolina. Hoke pioneered the move in ownership back in 2015 when the town of Pulaski sold Calfee Park to the Shelor Ownership Group.
