Sheriff: Two arrested in Dublin on multiple drug charges

According to Pulaski County Sheriff Mike Worrell, on August 1, 2017 the Claytor Lake Regional Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Dublin, Va.

The residence is the home of Tamika Nicole Meadows and Bakari Jawara Bullock of Pine Street.

Task Force Investigators seized numerous items from inside the residence.  Those items included a quantity of marijuana that was packaged for distribution, along with cocaine, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA/Ecstasy), and an unspecified amount of currency.

Both, Tamika Meadows and Bakari Bullock were arrested and charged with possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute, Possession of schedule I (Ecstasy) and possession of schedule II (Cocaine).  Both subjects were transported to the New River Valley Regional Jail where they were held.

The Claytor Lake Regional Drug Task Force consist of investigators from the Town of Dublin Police Department, the Town of Pulaski Police Department, Wythe County Sheriff’s Office, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police.

The Pulaski County  Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team consist of Deputies from various divisions of the department.  Those members are highly skilled and specifically trained and certified to handle high risk and potentially volatile incidents.
