James Calvin Cregger, 74, passed away peacefully Sunday night. A man with many talents, a heart full of love and a soul that brought great joy, James was an avid student, always learning new things and constantly tinkering around as the “Project Man”. 46 years of service to Xaloy, loved reading and cherished his time with family and friends .

Born on September 12, 1948, to John Adam and Myrtle Brewster Cregger who preceded him in death along with a brother (Vernon Lee Cregger) and 2 sisters (Stella Farley and Virginia Irene Sebra).

Left to carry on his legacy is his daughter, Sherry L. Nack (Steven) of Pembroke and his son Adam S (Sonya) Cregger of Hillsville.

A very loving, supportive and kindhearted Fiancé’, Joyce Phillips of Dublin.

James is survived by grandchildren, Lora Cregger and Zoe Barr, bother, Russell (Sevella) Cregger of Pulaski and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

The family will receive friends Sunday Night, June 18, 2023, from 5:00 until 7:00 in the chapel of Norris Funeral Services, Pulaski located at 815 Randolph Avenue.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, June 19, 2023, at the Shiloh Christian Church on Lowmans Ferry Road at 11:00 with Pastor Gary Rorrer officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.
