Acencio is Pulaski County High’s Senior of the Month

Our Senior of the Month for April is Esperanza Fey Acencio. Ese is the daughter of Grasiela & Julio Aguilar of Pulaski. Ese was described by her nominating teacher as having a consistent positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ese often takes the lead in Mrs. Norris’ culinary arts class and at catered culinary receptions. She is a leader and can be counted on to get her classmates “on board”. This month Ese was part of a three member culinary team, competing in a competition at the state level where they were awarded a silver medal. She is extremely reliable, mature and gives her best no matter the task. Ese is a true example of Cougar PRIDE. During her free time, Ese loves hiking and spending time with her family and puppy. She loves to cook and upon graduation, Ese would like to attend culinary school at Virginia Western. The award presentation was held during Tuesday’s meeting of the School Board.
