Obituary for Nancy Christine “Chris” Nester Hanks
Nancy Christine “Chris” Nester Hanks, 88, of Pulaski, VA died early Monday morning, October 7, 2019 at her home. She was born in Carroll Co., VA on September 18, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Warren Edgar Nester and Grace Largen Nester. Chris was a retired nurse and was a member of the First Christian Church. She was passionate about her genealogical and historical research, but she was most proud of her family and her nursing career.
Chris was a member of Count Pulaski Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, she served as Chapter Registrar for several years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11th at 11:00 AM from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Dunstan officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be at the funeral home on Friday where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church, Pulaski.

So sorry for your loss. She was such a great lady, always a pleasure to serve and work with. She will truly be missed here but she left this world a better place for us. Prayers for your family.
