Obituary for Randall Wayne Shrewsberry
Randall Wayne Shrewsberry, 79, of Snowville, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Cozy Home Haven in Fairlawn. He was a U. S. Army veteran and was employed with the U. S. Navy. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Every Shrewsberry and mother, Fay Elaine Vancamp; and infant son, Jesse.
Randy loved Bluegrass music, especially the guitar.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Shrewsberry; sisters, Janice Faye Brannon, Donna Katherine Whisman, and Letha Carol Ratcliff; nieces, nephews, and church family; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12p.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Snowville Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tony Hart officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne, Trevor, Elijah and Ty Simpkins, and Chad Fox.

I’m terribly sorry to hear about the death of a real good friend Randy would come to the Snowville Ruritan on bluegrass night and he requested the song GRANDFATHER’S CLOCK which I would play for him every time he was there and he always smile when he heard the chimes on my banjo.. Well its time for him to have my Dad and uncles to play for him in Heaven. GOD bless all of yall Go rest high Randy we love you friend
