Obituary for Benny Ray Riddle

Benny passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of July 1st at the age of 69.
Benny was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting but was an even bigger lover of anything equestrian! Benny enjoyed his life to the fullest, going horseback riding/camping in the woods of Virginia with family and friends every time opportunity knocked! He kept Anheuser Busch in business for the last 40 years.
Benny was the youngest child of seven born to
Mr. Charlie Oren Riddle and
Mrs. Elsie Virginia Stevens Riddle of Pearisburg,
Virginia. He was Preceded in death by two children, a daughter Pami Riddle and son Benny Jr, and both of his parents, two brothers,
Robert (Jake) Riddle and Charles “Eddie” Riddle and
three sisters Betty Kemp, Juanita “Needie” Wright, and Viola “Tiny” Wall.
Benny is survived by one sister Linda and her husband Richard wall of Draper Va.
Benny leaves behind to remember him his two children born to Wanda Joyce Thornton Riddle and himself.

Troy and Eula’s gift to Paw Paw Benny is the Granddaughter’s Allison Faye Riddle and
Quincy Marie Riddle. Allison and Quincy also gifted Benny with the opportunity to be a Great Grandfather to Quincy’s two daughters
Aylah Nashea Riddle and Khyah Narea Riddle.

Jennifer and Johnny’s gift to Paw Paw Benny is two Grandsons oldest Grandchild Dustin Shawn Moore and Youngest Grandchild Kellen Nathaniel Moore.
Benny also had a large extended family, nieces and nephews and special grandchildren, Robert Riddle, Kimberly Riddle, Robin Wright, Barry Wright, Loretta wright, Michael Wright, Kevin wright, Junior Kemp, Mary kemp, Sarah Kemp, Angel Brimberg , Tish Collins, Rita Wall, Lynn Wall, Vickie Vaughan, Debbie Cox, Ronnie Jr, Ricky Wall, Rhonda Wall, Barbara Wall, Ginia Wall, Brittany Crowder, Cody Crowder, Chance Fink, Ryssa Crowder, Lacey Crowder, Preston Crowder and Preston’s daughter Malorie.
Dea Moore, her son Wade Moen and Wade’s daughter Sidney Moen, Kim Jackson and husband Craig Jackson of Amherst VA. along with their two children Dalton Jackson and Ashley Jackson.
Teri Brown And husband Wendell Brown of Wytheville VA. and their two sons Tristan Brown and their oldest son Dylan Brown and wife Kelsey along with their Three children Bryson, Carter and Jayde
And great nieces and nephews too numerous to list.
Special family friend Robert Whitman and family.
Survived by his best horse Ben and is reunited with his blue heeler Buster.
A celebration of Benny’s life will be held on Friday Night, July 14, 2023 beginning at 7:00 in the chapel of Norris Funeral Services, Pulaski Chapel located at 815 Randolph Avenue. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
