Donald “Donnie” Joseph Yates

Donald “Donnie” Joseph Yates, age 58 of Pulaski, died Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.  Donnie was born on February 9, 1965 in Roanoke, and was the son of the late Sandra Joan Oney Yates and the late Cecil David Yates.

He was a plumber by trade for many years.  Donnie and his wife Mary, on occasion, attended Grace Ministries in Pulaski, where their pastor was Mike Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother:  Cecil David Yates, Jr. and a sister:  Lisa Yates.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Katherine Harris Yates of Pulaski:  a brother; Daniel Yates of Nathalie, VA, and two special grandchildren: Tannar Smith, and Rowan Smith.
