This story is about MY SON!! No one contacted me to ask if I would grant permission to publish this story.
My son suffered with Mental Illness and Addiction issues. He was in a PTSD Episode when this happened. My son had been hospitalized 7 times since 1.9.24 for Severe PTSD, Anxiety and Paranoid Disorder. Each hospitalization he was released after a week or so.
There are far too many parents burying their children, regardless of their age, for Mental Health issues and Addiction issues. Something has to be done, changes need made within our legal system and healthcare systems!! I do not have all of the answers, but together we have to be able to develop a system to stop this from happening in our society. Tomorrow I have to go make Funeral arrangements for MY SON and ONLY CHILD!
