UPDATE: Woman wanted in Wythe County apprehended in Pulaski
UPDATE:
According to Chief Deputy Anthony Cline, M.S. of the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office the victim in this incident has passed away.
“Pulaski County took Ms. Adams into custody, and she is currently at the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office,” Cline reported.
The Patriot was told earlier today that Adams was actually apprehended in the Pulaski County Courthouse while appearing for another unrelated matter.

On November 17, 2024, the Wythe County Sheriffs Office responded to an emergency call at a residence on Ramsey Mountain Road in Max Meadows regarding a woman who had been set on fire. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim suffering from severe bums covering most of her body. The victim and witnesses identified the suspect as Savannah Renee Adams.
Adams fled the scene in a silver 2004 Dodge Neon. The victim was transported by helicopter to a specialized medical facility for treatment of her injuries.
The suspect, Savannah Renee Adams (DOB: October 20, 1996), has been charged with the following offenses:
- Attempted Second-Degree Murder
- Felonious Assault

its sad that someone would take another person life and have no remorse and show up in court for another charge like nothing happened that poor victim thanks for keeping us local people updated step by step it’s nice to know us inisent people are safe from criminals running around in ower towns
