| RICHMOND, VA – Governor Glenn Youngkin directed the Virginia State Police to open a criminal investigation into allegations of school-funded abortions in Fairfax County. The investigation comes after a report published detailed allegations of school staff members allegedly facilitating minors to get abortions without parental consent.
“I am deeply concerned with the allegations that Fairfax County Public Schools officials arranged for minors to get abortions without parental consent and may have misused public funds to pay for them. I am directing the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation to open a full criminal investigation into the matter immediately,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin.
Reports allege school officials may have arranged and paid for abortions for multiple minors without parental notification. Reports also indicate that the school administration may have known this was happening, and that school funding may have been used, which could include local, state and federal funds.

schools have been overstepping their for years but this is too much. Arranging birth control, I can see, but a medical procedure? No!

There has to be a mistake. Since when does any school or schools have that kind of power? That is life and death not a case of pronouns and genders. Any teacher or staff involved in procuring and or paying for abortions should be prosecuted and fired. I am 70 years old, from the free love era. I wished that my mother would have kept her nose out of my business when I was in high school. However, I would have reported school staff myself if I had known they were complicit in helping kids get abortions.

I seriously doubt that any school would arrange for a child to have any medical procedure much less abortions. Birth control is another thing. The problem is that to many people equate Birth control as being the same as an abortion.

This is political shadow boxing. All alleged reporting has the smell of fraud. If this has any substance of truth, it should start with local policing. The governor doesn’t put their stamp of collusion on something so nebulous of facts. School bullying which too often lead to death doesn’t get this kind of attention. Maybe it should

I would say, NOVA nothing good has come out of that region especially the control of government by the Left.
Virginia once the pride of all states, has lost its way . Started with Warner, to Kain, on to Mc Auliffe ,and (no friend of the new born) Northam.
Please vote Republican, keep the direction Youngkin has started .
