Aspen Kayleigh Shaw, of Savannah, GA passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, resting peacefully in her mother’s arms, at home.
Born November 24, 2018, she is the daughter of Michael and Brandi Shaw of Savannah, GA (formerly of Dublin, VA).
Aspen will be missed by the BOGOS, Brayden and Alyvia Shaw, her younger brother and sister (Savannah); Grandparents, Chris and Michele Hayes (Dublin); Wes and Melissa Lambert (Pulaski); Scott and Setara Shaw (Dumfries); Great-grandparents, David and Elizabeth Flanagan (Dublin); George and Midge Lambert (Max Meadows); and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She will also be missed by her bonus family, the PSU nurses and Child Life Specialists at the Children’s Hospital of Savannah.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Dec. 15, 2025 at 12 noon at Bower Funeral Chapel and Crematory at 1631 Bob White Boulevard, Pulaski with internment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens, 5555 Lee Highway, Dublin, Va.
Following the internment, family and friends will gather at New Hope Church NRV, 3050 Lee Highway N, Pulaski, Va.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Andrew Pendleton, Dr. Nathan Yarnall and Dr. Kirsten Williams for their advocacy of not only Aspen’s specific treatment, but for all of the children fighting.
