Tony Lee Boyd

Tony Lee Boyd, age 66 of Chester, VA and formerly of Pulaski, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond.  He was born in Pulaski on July 30, 1959, and is the son of Carol Hylton Boyd and the late Bernard Lee Boyd. Tony’s profession during life was an expert welder.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Boyd.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Crystal King Boyd of Chester:  three sons, Chuckie Earhart of Radford, Philip Overman, III of Chester, VA, and Colin Overman of Chester, VA:  a brother; Stephan (Debbie) Boyd of Pulaski:  a sister, Evelyn “Sissy” Boyd of Pulaski.  He is also survived by five grandchildren:  Atticus Earhart, Melody Earhart, James Earhart, Charles Earhart, and Maggie, and Nephew Charlie Abbott and niece Delainey Boyd.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Pulaski County.  There will be no visitation.
