Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Goad

Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Goad, age 90 of Pulaski, died Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born January 25, 1936 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Dorothy Lou Crowder Finn (Doxie) and the late Luther F. Finn.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Garfield Goad; son, Kelly Goad; sister, Ellen Lauer; brothers, Jimmy Finn, Rome Finn, Ralph Finn, Lebron Finn, Saford Finn, Joseph Finn and Leonard Finn.

 

She is survived by sons, Robbie (Valerie) Goad and Doug (Sandra) Goad and daughter-in-law, Denise Goad.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richie (Cierra) Goad, Grant (Brittany) Goad, Lucas Goad, Evan Whattley, Lilly Whattley, Rick Whitaker and Ryan Whitaker; Great-grandchildren, Colt Goad, Lorelai Reeves, Nick Whitaker, Caleb Whitaker and Sean Whitaker.

 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt and special thank you to the staff of Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care, compassion, and kindness they showed Liz during the last few months of her life. Your dedication and care brought comfort to Liz and meant so much to her family.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with Pastor Richie Goad officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Oakwood Cemetery.
