Election letter deadline set

The Patriot and The Southwest Times will accept Open Forum letters on the upcoming November election through Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. All letters MUST include the name of the writer and a daytime phone number for verification. Only one letter per writer in a 30-day period. Letters can be submitted via email to: news@pcpatriot.com, mailed to: Open Forum, P.O. Box 2416, Pulaski, VA 24301 or brought by our offices at: 7 Fifth Street NE, Pulaski. While we strive to publish all letters we receive as they are submitted, we do reserve the right to edit any letter, and we do not guarantee all letters will be published. We plan to publish letters through Friday, Oct. 23. No letters will be published on Friday, Oct. 30.
