Henry Clay Lodge Honors Community Builder Paul Mele

On July 7th, Henry Clay Lodge presented Paul Mele with the prestigious Community Builders Award in recognition of his outstanding service to local children and families.

 

Mele founded the New River Valley chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace in 2020. Since its inception, the local chapter has delivered more than 1,700 beds free of charge to children in need across Pulaski County, Montgomery County, the City of Radford, and Giles County, ensuring no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.

 

“He has made a tangible, lasting difference in the lives of children throughout our communities,” the Lodge noted during the award presentation.
