Carol Dee Grigonis

Carol Dee Grigonis, age 80 of Max Meadows passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Born June 20, 1946 in Bluefield, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Thomas Howard Shupe & Doris Louise Dooley Shupe. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister Daral Lee Willeford; brother Norman Keith Shupe and son Michael Grigonis.

Grandchildren – David Ziegler, Jr., Ashley Amberman & John Miller, Sr., Brandt (LeeAnn) Ziegler, Megan Ziegler & Tyler Maloyed, Braelyn Coles, Lilly Grigonis, Brixton Grigonis, Eleanor Grigonis

 

Great Grandchildren – John Miller II, Cole Ziegler, London Ziegler, Carter Chaffin, Connor Chaffin

 

Brother – Randy (Lucette) Shupe – CO

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM – Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Bower Funeral Home – Chapel, Pulaski with Elder Carolyn D. Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Friday at the Funeral Home.

 

Interment will be 11:00 AM – Monday, September 14, 2026 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to the Secu Family House (1970 Baldwin Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103)
