DHS Breakfast
The Dublin High School breakfast for DHS alumni and friends meets every first Wednesday at the Dublin Lions Club. 3-night Fall Revival
Dora Highway Anchor of Faith located at 1643 Dora Hwy; Pulaski, VA will be hosting a 3-night Fall Revival starting on Wednesday, Sept. 30th and continuing on Oct.1st and 2nd. Services start at 7PM nightly with special music each night. The guest speaker will be Pastor Derek Cowan from Living By Faith Baptist Church in Independence, VA. 60th Reunion for DHS Class of ’66
The Dublin High School Class of 1966 is celebrating its 60th Class Reunion on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at the Thornspring Golf Course and Event Center, 4360 Country Club Drive, Pulaski, VA 24301.
We will enjoy a social hour from 4-5 pm with dinner served at 5:OO pm. The cost is $25 single and $50 per couple. GRaPeJAM Info Meeting
GRaPeJAM (Greater Pulaski Junior Appalachian Musicians) will launch its 2026–27 program with an informational meeting on Monday, October 5, at 4:00 p.m. at Valley Harvest Ministries, 1 Harvest Place, Dublin, VA. Students in grades 4 and up who want to learn banjo, fiddle, guitar, or mandolin are invited to attend with a parent or guardian. The program teaches traditional old-time and bluegrass music in a welcoming community setting and will provide a loaner instrument. For additional information or questions, call 540-577-5917.

HORTICULTURAL HELP
On Saturday, October 10th, and Sunday, October 11th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, at the Bland County Festival of Leaves, 31 Fairgrounds Road, Bland, VA, the Wythe Bland Region Master Gardener Association will be having a horticultural help desk booth and providing information about gardening and also apple varieties along with pruning and collecting grafting wood (scion) for starting new apple trees in the early spring. Everyone is welcome to stop by to ask questions about their gardening concerns. Stop by our booth! We would love to talk with you!

Senior Appreciation Day
Senior Appreciation Day will be held Sunday, Oct. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at River of Life Church, 5311 Black Hollow Road, Dublin. Internationally known evangelist David Ring will be our special guest speaker. Seniors, their families, children, and grandchildren are warmly invited to join us for this special service honoring the senior adults in our community.

PLANT-BASED COOKING SCHOOL:
Monday, October 12th, at 6:30 pm, at the Wytheville SDA Church, 1600 Chapman Rd, Wytheville. Come and join us as we are learning ways to prevent, reverse, and/or improve pre-diabetes and type II diabetes one bite at a time in a simple, delicious way. First Annual Super Senior Christian Conference
The conference will feature David Ring, the Rogers Family Southern Gospel group, and presentations from local police and fire departments addressing senior safety and community awareness. The conference will also provide opportunities for fellowship, spiritual encouragement, and information about resources available to seniors. There is no conference registration charge. Registration is required because space is limited. Lunch will be available for $15 per day, and you can reserve it at the time of registration.

The Sons of Confederate Veterans, Stuart Horse Artillery Camp 1784 will meet on Thursday, October 15, 7pm at the NRV Superbowl on 375 Arbor Drive NE in Christiansburg. Heritage Cares Food still distributing food
Heritage Cares Food Pantry at Heritage Church is still distributing food on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The church is located a half-mile past the New River Valley Airport on Route 100 North of Dublin.
