Vittles for Vets and Pulaski County Jaycees to host BINGO

Vittles for Vets and the Pulaski County Jaycees will be holding Bingo on Monday, November 4, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Cash prizes for each win. Pizza will be available for donation, along with drinks and other snacks. $1 per sheet per game with three play areas per sheet. Held at the Quality Inn on Tyler Avenue in Radford (the old Best Western). Please come out and join us for a worthy cause!


Count Pulaski Chapter DAR to meet

AMVETS to host luncheon to honor Vets and active duty personnel

To honor our Veterans and Active Duty Personnel, AMVETS Post 50 will be hosting a lunch buffet FREE for Veterans and their immediate family members. Veterans in Pulaski County invited to complimentary breakfast

Veterans in Pulaski County are cordially invited to a complimentary breakfast on Sunday, November 10, 8 a.m. – 10:15 a.m., so that we can thank them for their service in the U.S. armed forces.  The appreciation breakfast will be held at the Winesett Community Center of First Christian Church at 534 N. Reynolds Pizzeria to host fundraiser to benefit Vittles for Vets

Reynolds Pizzeria will be hosting a fundraiser benefiting Vittles for Vets on Monday, November 11, 5p.m. – 8 p.m. A percentage of each order placed during that time will benefit the Vittles for Vets program, which helps veterans in need of assistance with weekly meals. Sons of Confederate Vets, Stuart Horse Artillery to meet

The Sons of Confederate Veterans, Stuart Horse Artillery Camp 1784 will meet on Tuesday, November 12, 7 p.m. at Ray’s Restaurant on Rt. 221, north of Floyd. Members of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) are also invited to attend.

Mini Fall Fair to be held to raise money for dance team

Mini Fall Fair at Elite School of Dance. November 16, 8 a.m. -3 p.m. There will be an assortment of vendors and crafters, along with a bake sale. Breakfast biscuits and coffee available. Free admission. Elite School of Dance is located at 451 Cleburne Blvd in Dublin (Rt 100 across the road from Dollar General). Proceeds from this event go to support the Elite Mini Competition Dance Team.

Group sets aside day each month to pray for County

A group of citizens of Pulaski County has set aside the 15th of each month to fast and pray for the county. The group asks that citizens who are of a like mind please join them in this effort.


Feeding America

Distribution of fresh produce and baked goods at New Life Church of the Nazarene each Saturday from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (no charge) on a first-come-first-served basis. The church is located 45 S. Jefferson Ave., Pulaski.


Adult Day Care and Fall Prevention Center hosts monthly BINGO

Adult Day Service and Fall Prevention Center hosts BINGO on the 4th Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Ruritan building on 4th and Jefferson St in Pulaski. The building is located near Seagles Funeral Home. Everyone welcome!


Pulaski Old Time Jamboree

A Bluegrass Jam session for players of all ages is held every Thursday evening 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Historic Pulaski Train Depot. Cowboy Church ministry offers food bags to the elderly and shut-in

On the third and fourth week of each month Cowboy Church  offers  food bags to the elderly and shut -in.  On these weeks, interested participants may come by the church at 12 noon for pick up if able. Celebrate Recovery Support group at VHM

Valley Harvest Ministries in Dublin is now sponsoring a support group for people who are working through hurts, habits and hang- ups. The group meets each Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Food will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed at 7 p.m. with a large group meeting and then everyone will divide into smaller groups at 8 p.m. The church is located at 1 Harvest Place in Dublin.
