Backwoods of Terror planned at Claytor Lake State Park

Only two nights – Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm – to experience one of the areas most unique and affordable haunted attractions – Backwoods of Terror at Claytor Lake State Park! Take a stroll through our back woods of terror trail and then see if you’ll make it through the haunted house alive. Haunt admission is only $5.00 per person in addition to the daily $7.00 parking fee per vehicle. A glow stick is included with admission if desired. But be warned, you’ll be spotted much easier. We’re open for all ages and offer a “no scare” entry option. Proceeds from the event will go to the Claytor Lake State Park Ambassadors, the park’s nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer support/project Friends group. For any questions or more information please call the Park Office at 540-643-2500 or email at ClaytorLake@dcr.virginia.gov. Interested in volunteering for the event?
