Boone sets more marks at state track and field championships
Pulaski County High School track and cross country Coach Sirak Ogbagabir provided this information on Pulaski County High School track and cross country competitor Grace Boone following this past weekend’s VHSL 4A State Track and Field meet:
9x all state athlete
9x state champion
800 meter 4A state meet record holder
#7 All Time 800 runner in VA 2:07.46 ( still have nationals)
2x 2nd team All Timesland Cross Country
1x 1st Team All Timesland Cross Country
16x All Timesland 1st team track
2018 Timesland female Track athlete of the year
2018 Indoor Track Milestat female athlete of the year
2017 Conference 24 athlete of the year
Sirak reports Boone is the only athlete – male or female – to attempt AND successfully win the 400/1600/800 triple at a state championship in VA history. That occurred Saturday.

What a great accomplishment by this young lady. I have read about her amazing career, everyone should be proud of what has been accomplished. Good luck at VT.
