Candidate forums set for Tuesday, Wednesday
The Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce, along with its media partners The Patriot and The Southwest Times, are sponsoring Candidates Forums on Oct. 3 and 4.
Candidates in all five School Board races will appear in the Oct. 3 forum at Edwards Hall on the campus of New River Community College.
Candidates for the lone competitive race for the Board of Supervisors (Cloyd District), along with the County Clerk of Court race will appear in the Oct. 4 forum at Edwards Hall.
Both forums begin at 7 p.m.
Questions for the forum are being collected in advance from the public via the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce e-newsletter, Pulaski County Patriot, and The Southwest Times. Attendees at the forums will also have an opportunity to submit questions the night of the forums prior to their beginning.
The forums will be led by a neutral moderator and the event will be recorded.
You can become more acquainted with all the candidates prior to the forums by viewing this year’s candidate videos produced by the T.G. Howard Community Center, which allows candidates an opportunity to discuss their platform in depth in an untimed setting. To view these videos, visit T.G. Howard Community Center on Facebook.
