Chamber to host job fair for students at PCHS

The Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce will host a job fair at Pulaski County High School to assist in finding job and internship opportunities for students ages 14-18.

Chamber representatives will be set up in the commons area on Sept. 12 at PCHS during all three lunches. They will be available to ALL STUDENTS who are interested in employment options and possible internship opportunities. Students are welcome to visit the booth and talk with a chamber member about jobs in the area. Information will be available at the booth, as well as pamphlets and prizes. Work permits will be available to students under the age of 16. The job fair will also provide guidance for students seeking employment and interview tips.

Chamber Director, Peggy White, stated “The job fair is designed to retain and recruit student talent in Pulaski County by offering students an opportunity to get a step-up in today’s work force.”

The Chamber is opening up doors all over Pulaski County for students to benefit from, and they hope to get the word out so students can take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
