Chamber’s first-ever Outdoor Business Expo set for May 24
Pulaski County will be celebrating 50 Years of LOVE in conjunction with the Virginia Tourism Commission’s commemoration of the 50th year of the brand campaign slogan “Virginia Is For Lovers.” What a celebration it will be!
To participate in the kick-off of Pulaski County’s “Where’s The Love” promotion, plan now to attend the first ever Outdoor Business Expo of the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, May 24, from 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Claytor Lake State Park. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend
this Small Business Expo to check out the many amenities that Pulaski County has to offer while a large number of our businesses showcase their offerings, caliber and character.
We know that Pulaski County is a place where people come from far and near to enjoy the scenic views of the beautiful mountains, rivers, and lake that we enjoy regularly. It’s a place where the honest, hardworking character of our people shine through in our everyday encounters, and we do business in a place that successfully brings the past and present together.
This year, the Chamber will embrace our beautiful outdoors and showcase our businesses in the beautiful scenic area we are fortunate enough to call home. There will be many unique features at this year’s EXPO. Iron Heart Winery’s beer truck will be converted into a traveling bar to showcase their wines. There will be live remotes from PSK and the Hodge Podge Show, pop up boutiques, food, and boat rides by Mountain 2 Island. Numerous vendors have already signed up to participate, and the list continues to grow. Call (540) 674-1991 or e-mail info@pulaskichamber.info to register your business.
The special kick-off to the County-wide “Where’s The Love” celebration will be at EXPO. Due to the creativity, generosity, and community spirit of Volvo Trucks North America, the #WHERESTHELOVEPCVA, Pulaski County, VA mobile mural will be traveling around Pulaski County for 50 days. On May 24 – July 12, look out for 50 days of promotions from local businesses and the “Where’s the Love” mobile mural. Everyone is challenged to be the first to find the mobile mural, be the first to submit your selfie with it in that day’s location, use the hashtag #WheresTheLovePCVA, and win a $100 gift card. The truck can be anywhere in the County. Check out the community calendar at http://www.pulaskivatourism.org and go to the calendar to see a list of events and where the truck might be! Also check out Pulaski County is…Facebook page to stay updated on possible sightings.
