Cougar girls dominate Titans
The Pulaski County girls basketball team pushed its record to 7-5 and 3-0 in the River Ridge District in a big way Friday evening with a resounding, 54-21 win at Hidden Valley.
Nine players hit the scoring column as the Cougars jumped to an 18-5 first quarter lead and then outscored Hidden Valley 14-0 in the second quarter to lead at the half, 32-5.
Alaina Akers led the way with 10 points, Maddie Ratcliff and Paige Huff both tallied eight, Kassidy Secrist and Keslyn Secrist both scored six, and Ally Flennor five in the dominating victory. The Titans are now 0-11 on the season.
