County Water Treatment Plant Recognized

Pulaski County Public Service Authority’s Draper Water Treatment Plant was recognized during the recent Water is Life event. In this photo, Eddie Viars of the county’s water works is shown accepting the 2022 Gold Excellence in Waterworks Operations/Performance Award. Pulaski County Public Service Authority Board Member Ashley H. Coake, who submitted the photo and attended the event, said, “I am very proud of Eddie, the water treatment operators, and everyone who has a part in making our water top notch.” During the event, each award recipient was asked to share about their treatment facility and some of the filtration/treatment strategies that contributed to the achievement of the award. “Though most of the technical terms were over my head, Eddie represented our county very well in his response,” Coake said.
