Pulaski County new logoPulaski County Circuit Court Clerk Maetta Crewe has formally announced her retirement in a statement to The Patriot.

“After 17 wonderful years serving the citizens of Pulaski County as Clerk of the Circuit Court and 39 years of service in the clerk’s office, I have decided not to seek re-election and retire at the end of my term,” Crewe stated.

“My retirement date will be January 1, 2024,” she noted.

“I am extremely thankful for the trust you have placed in me, and it has been my pleasure to serve the citizens of this great county. I will always be thankful for your support. There comes a time, however, to allow someone else the privilege to serve and enjoy the best job in the world,” Crewe said.

“Pulaski County is a wonderful place to live, and I intend to continue living here and serving in other ways. I plan to spend more time with my sons, grandchildren, husband, and friends.

“I will always be grateful for the privilege you have afforded me, and I will remain ‘Pulaski Proud,’” Crewe said.
