DAK Lights relocates to Randolph Park in Dublin

It’s official: DAK Lights has relocated to Randolph Park in Dublin, Virginia!  Starting with this year’s premiere at 5:30pm on Thanksgiving Night, November 22, DAK Lights will run nightly through New Year’s Eve at the new location in the back of the park.

DAK Lights is an annual Christmas light and music show which premiered in November 2010.  Every year, hundreds of families from around the New River Valley come to visit between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve to enjoy a roughly 20-minute light show set to Christmas music being broadcast over 103.9FM.  Since its inception, the show has grown from about 3,000 incandescent (traditional) Christmas lights in white, red, and green colors to over 20,000 LED Christmas lights capable of producing millions of color combinations.

As the show grew in popularity over the years, so did the traffic, and the neighborhood street simply couldn’t support the volume of visitors who want to enjoy the show during the holiday season.  Thanks to a very generous private donation, DAK Lights has been secretly working on the relocation for months.  The move to Randolph Park provides significantly more parking, easier traffic flow, and better viewing locations to enjoy the show!

This year’s line-up will include classic Christmas songs like “Joy to the World” and “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” while also mixing in some fun new Christmas music.  The show runs continuously beginning at 5:30pm nightly, so stay as long as you’d like to see and hear each song!
