Deputies make arrest on Friday incident

On Friday July 3, 2020 at approximately 8:00 pm Deputies from Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office were called to respond to the 1500 block of Julia Simpkins Road in reference to an intoxicated male subject making threats while discharging a firearm.

When Deputies arrived on scene they observed the suspect, James Theodore “Teddy” Allison driving away from the scene and were able to stop Allison in a field close by.

Deputies immediately observed that Allison was intoxicated and located the firearm in his vehicle.

Allison was arrested and warrants were obtained for Driving Under the Influence, Reckless Handling of a Firearm and Hunting While Intoxicated.

Allison is being held without bond at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
