Elizabethton River Riders scores more runs than Pulaski River Turtles, takes victory on Saturday to the tune of 8-5

In the first inning, Elizabethton River Riders got their offense started. Sam Thompson drew a walk, scoring one run.

Elizabethton River Riders pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Thompson doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run and Reagan Guthrie singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Manuel Rodriguez took the win for Elizabethton River Riders. The righty allowed four hits and one run over six innings, striking out six and walking one. Jack WolgastChandler Pageant, and Casey Keller all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Keller recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Elizabethton River Riders.
