Fine Arts Center issues call to artists for Pulaski County Is… exhibit

Pulaski County is… What does that mean to you?  Beauty, Farms, Work?  You may have seen photographs of industry, scenic views, and local residents, but what is your personal connection to Pulaski County, including the Towns of Dublin and Pulaski?  The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley encourages you to photograph and enter up to five images that tell your Pulaski County story in a couple words along with your pictures.   Images will be displayed at the Center from April 15 through May 29.  There will be a blind jurying to determine winning images that will be used to promote Pulaski County, including displays at the County Administration Building and other county-wide locations, and including print media.  There will also be People’s Choice awards.  Categories include Youth (under aged 12), Youth (aged 12-18), Adults, and Professional.   Scenic views need to be identified with an address/description of site.

The deadline for entry is April 12; a limited number of 8×10 and 11×14 frames are available for display use on a first come, first served basis.   Images should be a minimum of 8×10 inches, and should also be available in digital format at 300 dpi.  For more information or to request an application, call or visit the Center, 540-980-7363.
