Five PCHS seniors nominated for Most Valuable Cougar Award
Five Pulaski County High School seniors have been named as nominees for the school’s Most Valuable Cougar Award.
The Most Valuable Cougar Award is the most prestigious title bestowed
upon a member of the Pulaski County High School senior class.
The five include Noah McCarty, Molly Cox, Grace Bailey, Grayson Deu and Ashlyn Kirtner.
The nominees were chosen by their fellow classmates and each nominee is an outstanding
representative of the Class of 2021. These students will serve as ambassadors for the student body during the 2020-2021 school year.
The following is the criteria presented to the senior class on which to select
the nominee for this award.
The Most Valuable Cougar award is based on these qualifications:
Values education and strives to reach his/her potential.
Sets goals and works to accomplish them.
Participates in activities and enhances them through his/her involvement.
Maintains good school attendance.
Exhibits strong character, integrity, and loyalty.
Interacts with others in a warm and friendly manner.
Turns setbacks into victories.
Recognizes his/her teachers, peers, and family as valuable human beings.
Takes risks and shares new experiences with others.
Values friendship.
Takes pride in his/her accomplishments and celebrates the accomplishments of others.
Represents his/her school well at extra-curricular and community events.
