Fleenor, Secrist, Blankenship earn spots on Class 4 All-State teams

Pulaski County High School has landed three members of its state runner-up girls basketball team on the Virginia High School Coaches Association Class 4 All-State team.

Ally Fleenor and Keslyn Secrist were named to the First Team, while Taryn Blankenship was named to the Second Team.

Joining Fleenor and Secrist on the First Team were Louis Volker and Jane Bodamer of Loudoun Valley, Sylvie Jackson of Louisa, Kiara Bomboy of Grafton and Logan Nuckols of Patrick Henry.

Second Team members along with Blankenship were Sydney Clayton, Monacan; Grace Middleton, Tuscarora; Alison Pike, Loudoun Valley; Aiyana Ellis, King George; Terese Greene, Eastern View; M’laya Ainsworth, Chancellor and Kennedy Scales, Salem.

Louisa’s Olivia McGhee was named Player of the Year and her coach, Nick Schreck was named Coach of the Year.
