Former Cougar, Grantham now analyst for Alabama

According to a variety of sources, including the University of Alabama and Sports Illustrated, former Pulaski County Cougar and Virginia Tech Hokie Todd Grantham has joined the Alabama Crimson Tide staff as an analyst.

Grantham joins the Tide after being fired in November as defensive coordinator for head coach Dan Mullen at Florida. Grantham was at Florida for four years.

Mullen himself was later fired by the Gators after a disappointing season.

Grantham has worked for Alabama head coach Nick Saban previously at Michigan State where he coached the defensive line from 1996-98.

Along with Florida, Grantham has been a defensive coordinator in the past at Mississippi State, Louisville and Georgia.

In the NFL, Grantham has coached for Cleveland, Dallas, Houston and Indianapolis.
