Four RBI Day For Joey Fregosi Brings In Win For Pulaski River Turtles Over Burlington Sock Puppets

Joey Fregosi drove in four on three hits to lead Pulaski River Turtles past Burlington Sock Puppets 16-3 on Thursday. Fregosi drove in runs on a double in the third, a single in the fourth, and a single in the fifth.

Pulaski River Turtles opened up scoring in the first inning, when Garrett Rice grounded out, scoring one run.

Pulaski River Turtles tallied six runs in the third inning. Jackson Beaman, Conner Gore, Cameron Leary, Fregosi, and Evan Minarovic powered the big inning with RBIs.

Joan Jesus Gonzalez got the win for Pulaski River Turtles. The righty lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out seven. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Michael Helton, Zac Capps, Crayton Burnett, and Aidan Cooney all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Luke Folsom took the loss for Burlington Sock Puppets. Folsom surrendered nine runs on 11 hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Pulaski River Turtles smacked one home run on the day. Rice went deep in the eighth inning.

Pulaski River Turtles racked up 18 hits on the day. Ross Lovich, Fregosi, Rice, Gore, Beaman, and Leary all managed multiple hits for Pulaski River Turtles. Lovich went 4-for-6 at the plate to lead Pulaski River Turtles in hits.
