Gibson Brothers coming to NRCC April 26

The Gibson Brothers, multi-award winners of International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) awards, will perform Friday, April 26, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. at New River Community College in Dublin. The event is sponsored by NRCC Fiddle, Banjo and Dance Club.

The bluegrass band, including brothers Leigh and Eric Gibson, has performed professionally since the late 1980s. IBMA awards include Emerging Artist of the Year – 1998; Song of the Year – “Ring the Bell” – 2010 and “They Called It Music” – 2013; Vocal Group of the Year – 2011 and 2013; Album of the Year – Help My Brother – 2011; Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year – “Ring the Bell” – 2010 and “Singing as We Rise” – Gibson Brothers with Ricky Skaggs – 2012; Songwriter of the Year – Eric Gibson – 2013; and Entertainer of the Year – 2012 and 2013.

Tickets for the show are on sale now. Reserved seating tickets are $25 and are available for purchase online only at www.nr.edu/fiddle. General seating tickets are $20 and available online and at the NRCC Business Office in 23 Godbey Hall in Dublin (cash and checks only for in-person ticket purchase). Online ticket purchases may be made by credit card only and will incur a $1 service charge per ticket. General admission tickets can also be purchased at the Pulaski County Visitor’s Center.

NRCC is a Crooked Road, Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail, affiliated venue.
