Griffith Announces $3,328,942 HHS Grant to New River Community Action, Inc. in Radford for Head Start

Thursday, June 1, 2023 – Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced a grant of $3,328,942 to New River Community Action, Inc. for Head Start projects:

“These funds from the Department of Health and Human Services are welcome news. This $3,328,942 grant will help provide educational and early development services to the children of the Radford area.”
