Habitat for Humanity of New River Valley launching First Annual Trunk or Treat Event at ReStore
Christiansburg, VA- Habitat for Humanity of the New River Valley is hosting their First Annual Trunk or Treat Event at the ReStore, Saturday, October 29th. Trick-or-treating begins at 3PM in the parking lot located at 1675 N. Franklin St.
The event will kick off at 2PM with music and crafts inside the ReStore. Vendors Countryman Jamaican Grill and Aloha Eddie Shaved Ice will be on site as well. Local organizations including Blue Ridge Church, Montgomery County Young Farmers, Montgomery County Fire & EMS, and Christiansburg High School Beta Club will be handing out candy during the event.
This event is free and open to the public.
“We are excited to try something new this year” said Tori Dunagan, Marketing & Event Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of the NRV. “Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating and provides an opportunity for our community and local organizations to come out and support our kids and families.”
