Hokies hosting transfer quarterback

     Virginia Tech is presently hosting Braxton Burmeister, a 6-6 quarterback, who placed his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal the first week of January. He has been in the Oregon program the past two seasons and was an original 4 star recruit.

     In his two seasons as a Duck, Burmeister passed for 330 yards and two touchdowns, but did suffer six interceptions. After losing two scholarship quarterbacks to transfer the past month, landing Burmeister would put the Hokies back up to four quarterbacks on the roster. It is not known if Tech has any competition for Burmeister’s services at this time.
