House Republican Leader Todd Gilbert Statement on Delegate Nick Rush’s Retirement

RICHMOND, VA — House Republican Leader Todd Gilbert released the following statement on Delegate Nick Rush’s retirement.

“On behalf of the House Republican Caucus, I would like to thank Delegate Nick Rush for his nearly a decade of service in the General Assembly. Nick has been a tremendous advocate for the economic prosperity of the New River Valley and our entire Commonwealth is better because of him. As Whip, Nick helped guide consequential policy that improved the lives of countless Virginians. Nick not only served our Commonwealth with distinction, but also served our nation courageously as a paratrooper in the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.

“While we will miss our colleague, we wish him and his family all the best in their future endeavors and continue to give back to their community.”
