Bluefield Ridge Runners defeated Pulaski River Turtles 6-5 on Sunday thanks to a walk-off home run. Bluefield Ridge Runners trailed 5-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Brayden Jobert homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.
In the top of the second inning, Pulaski River Turtles tied things up at two when Evan Minarovic‘s sac fly scored one run for Pulaski River Turtles.
Berroa pitched Bluefield Ridge Runners to victory. Berroa lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Austin Stambaugh, Cameron Knox, Bryce Holmes, and Ryan Voss all securing outs and ultimately the victory.
