Lady Cougars avenge last season’s state final defeat to Louisa County

Pulaski County defeated Louisa County, 63-49 to advance to the Region 4D Tournament finals.

The win over Louisa County was especially satisfying to the Lady Cougars, who fell to the Lions in last year’s state championship contest in the Cougar Den.

Pulaski County will play E.C. Glass in Lynchburg on Friday for the Region 4D championship.

With the win Tuesday night, the Lady Cougars have secured a spot in next week’s Class 4 State Championship tournament.
