Lady Cougars rout Radford in softball, 11-0

Laken Greever struck out 11 and Sydney Phibbs went 3-for-3 at the plate in an 11-0 rout of Radford on Tuesday at Pulaski County School.
Pulaski County scored five runs in their half of the first inning to take the lead for good.
Greever went the five-inning distance for the Lady Cougars to get the win. She surrendered only five hits in the shutout victory.
Phibbs had a big day at the plate, getting three hits – one a homerun – and plated three RBI.
Paige Huff and Addison Puckett had two hits for Pulaski County.
The Lady Cougars also kept Radford’s defense busy all afternoon, grabbing four stolen bases with Huff, Phibbs, Victoria Hale and Tori Vest all swiping bases.
Pulaski County (2-3) travels to Roanoke Thursday to face Patrick Henry at 5 p.m.
The Lady Cougars host George Wythe (Wednesday) and Hidden Valley on Thursday, April 5 and 6. Gametimes, weather permitting are 5 p.m.
