Lewis Vernon Carden

Lewis Vernon Carden, age 90 of Parrott, died Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his residence.  He was born in Parrott on January 11, 1933, and was the son of the late Sarah Gertrude Warf Carden and the late Everett Oral Carden.  He was a brick layer by trade, for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers.  He is survived by five sisters: Lola Lytton of Dublin, Evelina Kinley of Montgomery Co, Bettie Clemons of Parrott, Brenda Assad of Fairlawn, and Bonnie McCoy of Parrott.  Also survived by a special caregiver, Mary McCoy of Parrott.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Sifford Cemetery in Parrott, with Pastor Patrick Carden officiating. Family and friends may visit shortly following the graveside service at the cemetery.
