Max Meadows man dies in single-vehicle crash
Virginia State Police Trooper S.H. Viars is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Wythe County. The crash occurred July 27, 2020 at 3:05 p.m. on Ivanhoe Road, a few hundred feet west of Felts Lane.
A 2001 Ford Ranger was traveling along Ivanhoe Road when it ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
The driver, Bruce E. Spraker, 70, of Max Meadows, Va., died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.

Two wrecks has happened at this same spot in the past few weeks. A fed ex truck first and now a neighbor and friend lost his life there. The road needs to be fixed. It is very dangerous. How many more wrecks or lives lost will it take for something to be done?

You are exactly right I live right there and it is so dangerous I’ve seen 2 wrecks just in this month but this time it was much more tragic. God bless his family and many prayers for all those who knew him
