Motorcyclist dies in crash on Route 52
Virginia State Police Trooper C.A. Thompson is investigating a fatal crash in Carroll County. The crash occurred May 23, 2021 at around 2:30 p.m. when a motorcycle crashed on Route 52, approximately 2 miles south of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The operator of the motorcycle was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where the motorcyclist died early Monday morning (May 24). The crash remains under investigation.
