Agnes Dishon Smith, age 74 of Dublin went home to be with the Lord on Sunday evening March 19, 2023 at the Lewis-Gale Medical Center, Salem. Born October 28, 1948 in Snowville she was the daughter of the late William Alvis Dishon & Hassie Holliday Dishon. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Worrell Dunagan.
Agnes a registered nurse, was an active member of Dublin Christian Church where she dedicated her time to serving others. When she wasn’t helping others, she could be found painting, quilting and gardening.

Sisters – Belva Dalton – Snowville, Gracie (Ernest) Worrell – Snowville
Brothers – Gary (Reba) Dishon – Snowville, Ricky (Debbie) Dishon – Snowville, Jeff (Margaret) Dishon
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM – Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Dublin Christian Church (5605 Dunlap Road-Dublin, VA 24084) with Ministers Gregg “Scooter” Breisch & Richie Goad officiating. Interment will follow at the Dishon Family Cemetery, Snowville.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until service time Wednesday at the Church.
