Obituary for Archie Walter Kemp
Archie Walter Kemp, age 92 of Pulaski, passed away Saturday morning, September 10, 2022 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 31, 1930, and was the son of the late Ollie Moore Kemp and the late Walter Victor Kemp. He was a retired production supervisor for Hooker Furniture Corporation, and a member of the Newbern Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 54 years, Ruth Marshall Kemp: sons; Terry Wayne Kemp, Vic Kemp: two brothers; Charlie Clarence Kemp, and Jessie Lee Kemp: sisters; Stella Fowlkes, and Bessie Eads, and several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by one daughter: Leigh Ann and Chad Owen of Pulaski: Son; Dean and Donna Kemp of Pulaski. one sister; Pansy Wimmer of Floyd: Grandchildren; Megan Kemp, and Jason, Madelyn Owen, Michelle Kemp, Vici Davis, Jesse Smith and Jenna Kemp and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff and Dr. Williams at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center, for your care while he was a resident. A very special thank you to Connie Byrd for always watching over him and being a friend. The family will be having a private celebration of life.

Archie was a great guy and good friend. Worked with him at Coleman’s Furniture.

Archie kemp was my supervisor at colmans furniture he was one of the best to work with so so sorry to hear of his passing
