Obituary for Betsy Carmen Gregory Ward
Betsy Carmen Gregory Ward (78) of Draper, VA gained her heavenly reward on June 19, 2023 at 12:52 a.m. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
Betsy is preceded in death by her parents, Everett Asa Gregory and Carmen Ercell Quesenberry Gregory, her brothers Graham Everett Gregory, Jerry Clisby Gregory, Sr., sister Stella Gregory, and daughter Jewell Louanne Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Edward Ward (81), her son William Daniel Ward (49), and daughter Carmen Leigh Ward Haas (47). She was the loving grandmother (Maw-Maw) to David Duane Almarode, Christy Leigh Nester, Charles Daniel Almarode, Carmen MaKayla Holland, William Daniel Ward II, Hunter Renee Haas, Ember Kylie Ward, James Colton Haas, Billie Elizabeth Haas, and Jesalyn Rayne Ward. She was also blessed with five great grandchildren.
Betsy will be laid to rest in a family plot at Draper Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery following a Celebration of Life service to be scheduled.
The family would like to extend a special “THANK YOU” to Intrepid Hospice for the loving care given to Betsy in her final days here on Earth.

Sorry for the loss of a dear friend Beaty and I have been friends in school and on Facebook . She was a great person to know. A good Christian woman . I send my prayers to her family and friends .
